Madison Connecting Citizens to City Hall

Madison the City has taken another big step bringing City Hall to its citizens.  The recent launch of Madison’s new official website,, has created a 24-hour online City Hall, demonstrating the City’s commitment to quality government services and transparency.  The new website offers a clean, smart design, allowing users to easily navigate through useful and current information and news, including an online inventory of key City services.

Nationwide, residents have made it known that they want up-to-date information - easy to find and in a mobile-friendly format - so information is accessible while at home or work or on the go.  Madison's new website utilizes a responsive design, which means the site will automatically reshape itself to maximize its presentation and readability for any screen, including tablets and smartphones, geared to increase communication and maintain the sense of community.

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of Madison asked U.S.NEXT to create the website's design and structure.  “The elected officials of Madison are constantly seeking to improve the delivery of services to their residents, community businesses, and visitors, and a strong web presence is an increasingly important tool to connect citizens to City Hall,” said David Crawford, CEO of U.S.NEXT. “Our development team was able to design and program a website for the City of Madison that addresses the needs of diverse users - from residents and prospective residents to visitors, entrepreneurs, developers, and investors.”
