Responsive Website Launched by MVSU

Mississippi Valley State University (MSVU) is proud to unveil a newly designed and mobile-friendly website at www.mvsu.edu. The responsive site provides a dynamic platform for showcasing all the University has to offer and an improved, user-friendly navigation to help make locating information much more intuitive. Built on a content management system that will allow the University to more efficiently and effectively update content, the website also utilizes the best of social media.

While the site is a major leap forward in aiding prospective students as they make their college decision, it is also a breath of fresh air for current students, parents, faculty and staff members, and the extended MVSU family. Visitors to the site will have access to up-to-date news and events occurring at the college, including the latest press releases and athletics information.

Web development services firm U.S.NEXT project manager, Keith Liberto said, “In a world of ever-changing technology being accessed daily by students, faculty, staff, alumni, and donors, Mississippi Valley State University needed a new footprint on the web. They only have one chance to make a first impression, and the new website conveys the positive qualities their campus embodies.”

From the brilliant green and white themed pages to the pictures depicting student life, to the efficient design, the university’s new website makes a positive impression.  “We're pleased help MVSU create a web portal where people can access information and resources to learn about the university’s educational options – whether a student seeking college credit or a business in need of training for its workforce,” said David Crawford, CEO of U.S.NEXT.  “With its mobile and tablet friendly design, interactive elements, enhanced search, and higher visibility of upcoming events, the newly designed site gives a look and feel that better meets the demands of its users.”

MVSU is proud that its web presence now reflects the quality of its faculty and campus experience.
