The Mississippi State Board of Cosmetology is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned website, www.msbc.ms.gov. The new design provides users with instant access to educational, health, licensing, and regulatory information for all aspects of the cosmetology industry.

The redesigned website has a new look and feel as well as other enhanced features. The website is presented in a responsive design, which allows users to access information and resources across multiple devices.

The Board of Cosmetology licenses and regulates the profession of cosmetology, esthetics, manicuring, instructors and establishments where these services are performed. It also regulates health and safety issues in schools approved by the Board. Anyone who provides these types of cosmetology services including but not limited to, haircutting, hairdressing, nail care, skincare and the application of make-up must be licensed by the Board.
